Born in Arzignano (VI), 1982. Lives and works in Venice and Vicenza.
The Fondazione Spinola Banna offered me an opportunity for professional as well as personal growth that was far beyond the ordinary. Throughout the three-week workshop I was able to breathe an air of absolute intellectual participation and intense industriousness, all the while immersed in a rural reality defined by the rhythms of diligence and vitality.
Furthemore, besides a capable and well-organized staff, the Foundation made available to the artists in residence a series of services aimed at alleviating any difficulty associated with working outside of one’s usual context.
The immediate bond between the participants in the workshop guaranteed the success of the encounter both in terms of the discussion of their individual projects and with respect to the particular themes established by Luca Vitone.
I would like to give special thanks to Marquis Gianluca Spinola, to Gail and to Guy. They are engaged in a noble work of preserving and encouraging culture and beauty here in Italy. I hope to be lucky enough in my life to encounter other people with the same sincere dedication to art as them.
PS: the legends about the abundance and quality of food (and wine) turn out to all be true.
