During this workshop we were given the oppurtunity to confront the unexpected, and all that comes with it: from reflection on emptiness and silence and the study of monastic life and prison as investigated by Alberto Pesavento all the way to the ecology of the image as proposed by Peter Friedl. In this microcosm, in the comfort and isolation of the Fondazione Banna, a series of encounters and questions were createsd through which we could deepen our understanding of the basic motivations of our practice.
